GREAT COUNTRY / WESTERN HITS

Issued in 1956, this is a boxed set of 10 extended play 45's one of which is the recordings of the "King of Rock-'N-Roll". It is considered to be rare. It is from my primary collection and it is for the serious collector.

Concerning the Records: The Matrix Number stamped in the Wax on Each Side is:

H2WH-1986-1S - 3 Scuffs w/minor hole wear.
H2WH-1988-1S - 1 scuff on label by song 2.
H2WH-1990-1S - minor hole wear.
H2WH-1992-1S - minor hole wear.
H2WH-1994-1S - minor hole wear.
H2WH-1996-1S ELVIS - 2 minor scuffs w/minor hole wear.
H2WH-1998-1S - 2 minor scuffs.
H2WH-2000-1S - 1 minor scuff.
H2WH-2002-1S - minor hole wear.
H2WH-2004-1S - 3 noticeable needle scuffs w/hole wear.
H2WH-2005-1S - 2 noticeable scuffs
H2WH-2003-1S - slight "dish", needle scuffs @ start of song 2 & 2 minor scuffs on song 1.
H2WH-2001-1S - slight "dish", 1 minor scuff & print error spot next to artist name.
H2WH-1999-1S - hole wear.
H2WH-1997-1S ELVIS - needle scuff in song 1 grooves (Mystery Train) & minor hole wear.
H2WH-1995-1S - 1 small needle scratch on song 2.
H2WH-1993-1S - 2 scuffs.
H2WH-1991-1S - Record OK.
H2WH-1989-1S - Record OK.
H2WH-1987-1S - Record Ok.

I do not play my records. Therefore, I do not "play-grade" them. However, if I had to judge the condition, I would say "VG+++ to M-".

Concerning the Box: It is in near-perfect condition. There are no seam rips and the (paper) hinge is intact. There is a cardboard "outersleeve" for added protection. Inside the box is a receipt from 1957, that is very interesting.

Concerning the Inserts: They are in near-perfect shape. They consist of one "Form 3K693", four "EP-POP-Insert-1", three "EP-RS-Insert-2" and three "EP-RS-Insert-1".

I have owned this Boxed Set for the past 22 years of it's 48 year existance.
