Description
Elvis Presley 1956 self-titled debut album. This is the true 1ST pressing and was likely bought as soon as the album was released early in 1956. The album is VG++, excellent well-kept condition.
This album special 1st press features:
- "P.D." credited next to "Just Because" which was soon changed
- "Long Play" on the bottom of the label, which was also changed soon after release
- Label has silver writing and dog at the top
- Original clear inner sleeve. As this was his 1st RCA release, there was nothing to advertise. Later pressings featured advertisements. This has the original clear 1956 inner sleeve.
- RCA Victor LPM-1254 in upper right corner of front cover
- Pink and Green lettering on front cover
Yes, this is the true 1st original pressing and in excellent condition. The vinyl has some light marks, mostly from the inner sleeve. I do not believe this album has been played much. Cover has some light age spots and a small indentation on the top edge of the upper right corner, NO splits, odors, creases or any other damage.
Please take a look at the photos and please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
