Great condition copy, LP and Cover VG or better!

Sehr schöne und äußerst seltene Elvis Platte, die erste LP als Original 1956er ARMY/ PX Pressung. Mit Sicherheit eine der gesuchtesten deutschen Pressungen. Nur kurze Zeit wurden von Teldec Platten aus dem RCA Katalog mit speziellem Label hergestellt, bei denen das Vinyl exakt der deutschen Pressung entsprach mit der Nummer LPM-1254-C (manufactured in germany in auslaufrillen), das Label jedoch eine Mischung aus deutschem RCA Logo und US Dog on top war. Hierbei ist das HMV logo jedoch schwarz-weiss, unten steht Long Play sowie Made in USA(!).

Verkauft wurden diese Platten nur in PX shops, die für in Deutschland stationierte GIs eingerichtet wurden. Ab 1957 wurden diese Sonderpressungen zunehmend eingestellt. Besonders frühes Exemplar, hinter dem Song Just because steht PD für Public domain. Dasselbe galt auch bei den ersten US Pressungen.

Mittlerweile sind die Army Pressungen sehr schwer zu finden, insbesondere in gutem Zustand. Hier ein sehr gepflegtes Exemplar mit wenigen Gebrauchsspuren, Platte nur vereinzelt etwas stärkere Spuren, größtenteils Minimalkratzer, annähernd VG+, hier jedoch streng als Very Good bezeichnet. Das Cover hat ebenfalls nur minimale Gebrauchsspuren, sehr sauberer Zustand vor allem auch die Rückseite, wegen Tesabandvorhanden auch hier VG, ansonsten ein weit überdurchschnittliches Cover. Wichtig, Cover ist dasselbe wie bei der US Erstpressung mit pink/grüner Box oben rechts auf der Vorderseite.

Sehr schönes Sammlerstück, sehr guter Erhaltungszustand für eine über 55 Jahre LP, wirklich günstiger Einstiegspreis! Weitere Photos vom Label jederzeit, bitte e-mail!

Mega rare Original LP from Germany, made in 1956. Special Army/PX Shop pressing for US servicemen which were stationated in Germany after the second world war. Teldec, which had licence for RCA Victor records in Germany sold the normal german pressings in these shops, however in 1956 and 1957, there was a special label created with is a mixture of german RCA logo and US Nipper dog on top logo, Label says Made in USA. However the vinyl has stamped Manaufactured in Germany in the trailout grooves and german number LPM-1254-C! Again, these records were never offered for sale in german record stores, they were only sold in the PX shops!

As the US first pressings, this one has PD after Just because on Label side 1. Huge rarity, extremely hard to find these LPs today in this kind of condition! LP has only light wear, very difficult to find a better one. Cover used for these records were the normal US hardcovers, in this case the light pink/green version. It would be Exellent or Near MINT, however it has invisible tape, thats why it is called VG.
