ELVIS PRESLEY 78 rpm Hound Dog/Don’t Be Cruel

ELVIS PRESLEY RCA Victor 20-6604 (Cdn) Don’t Be Cruel/Hound Dog.
To these ears, the Kings best early RCA 78. #1 for 11 weeks in late ’56.

This rocker visually grades V+ with numerous superficial marks, some light surface scratches and light greying in the grooves. Spot-checked. Sounds great. There is a bit of surface noise but it soon recedes when Elvis and the fellas kick in. Nice labels. While you might not want this for your pristine Elvis collection, it’ll kick butt on your juke box or little Califone player.

78s come in used but nice vintage green sleeves or, when possible, original paper sleeves.
I ship 78s as I like to receive them - using the four-sheet 10” cardboard sandwich, foam chips, 12" x 12" x 4 "(or 6") box method.
I use standard 78 grading (E+, E, E-, V+, V, V- etc). I’ll sometimes use double plus or minus signs to really hone in on the shape.

Surface S&H (US & Canada) for up to two 78s is $8.50 US.
Air S&H (US & Canada) for up to two 78s is $10.50 US.
International surface S&H for up to two 78s is $11.00. International air S&H for up to two 78s is $20.50.
