THIS SALE IS FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEM:

Artist:   ELVIS PRESLEY

Title:   A-SIDE: ALWAYS ON MY MIND b/w B-side: MY BOY.

Label and number:   RCA PB-14090 A, and RCA PB-14090B.  White test pressing labels with track notes and numbering written in pen.  Not for commercial use, but used as early tester.

Cover condition and description:  Plain generic brown sleeve with a few scribbled notes on it.

Vinyl condition and description:   Bright clean vinyl, VG++ no special marks.

Additional notes:  This is a very scarce test pressing from RCA.  There are no matrix marks in the dead wax, though there are reference remarks written on the white test pressing label. It's a 45 rpm record stamped onto a 10" disc - standard routine for pressers.  "Always on My Mind" is the A side, and is dated 4/12/1985 timed at 3:39 (similar to the original 1972 recording of 3:37).  Not sure if this is a different recording or not.  The actual single with these label numbers was released by RCA in July 1985 by RCA with the label number (US) RCA PB 14090 and with "My Boy" as the B-side.  The songs were taken from the album "Always on My Mind" which had been issued in June 1985.

This is a real Elvis rarity and perfect for the Elvis collector that you know who thinks he/she has everything. Well, this is something they don't have.

  Priority Mail in USA: $8.00.
  First class airmail to Canada for single disc: $7.00.

• All other International airmail sent First Class International Airmail. Prices vary from country to country so please ask first. As an example, a single disc and cover sent to UK via First Class International is $14.00. A double vinyl album/single is $16.00. This is the cheapest rate that these items can now be sent.    NOTE: we will NOT ship to ITALY unless using registered mail at extra charge – sorry.
• Media mail shipping within the US usually takes about 10 days. LPs and 12’ers are shipped in proper LP shipping boxes with corrugated fillers. Open LPs are often removed from the sleeve before shipping to prevent seam splits.
• We are happy to combine shipping on multiple items. Please add $2.00 per item for shipping in North America, or $3.00 per item for overseas international airmail.

• PAYMENTS: Please make payments with Paypal to our email address within 7 days of end of auction. We are happy to send an invoice if you request it.

• ABOUT OUR VINYL:  We visually grade our records very carefully and conservatively using Goldmine standards.  Near Mint (NM) actually means a nice, clean, bright copy with possibly a paper scuff. Very Good (VG) is a clean, fresh copy with minimal scuffs and /or light scratches, not affecting play. We try to describe all imperfections to record covers.  Near Mint means it is bright, clean and without edgewear, seam splits, writing, etc. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions BEFORE you bid!
