ELVIS PRESLEY
With The Jordanaires
“ELVIS’ GOLDEN RECORDS
VOLUME 3”
WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!! MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original RCA Victor Records “New Ortophonic” High Fidelity Mono second press, released, made and distributed in Chile in 1965 by RCA Victor Records (via Corporación De Radio De Chile, S.A.), licensed from RCA Corporation Of America, USA (uncredited), catalog number LPM-2765, with hand etched matrix numbers LPM-2765-A EB-CD in Side A and LPM-2765-B EB-CD in Side B, with traditional yellow/black RCA Victor labels of the period, with big “RCA Victor” and rounded “RCA” logo at top. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND!!!
“Elvis’ Golden Records Volume 3” is a compilation album originally released in August 1963 and we had to wait a bit of time to see this album, because we got it released here in Chile in 1965 and, like usual in the period, we got it with an UNIQUE COVER, made of single piece of thick paper or thin cardboard folded in the middle, with two sheets of paper attached to the cardboard, partially glued in the mouth edge, for front and back covers, and kept all together by a plastic bag. Front cover keeps strictly the original US artwork with a slightly different design, 3 sides of the blue frame are omitted, so it only keeps the blue strip at bottom edge and with the catalog number at bottom left corner, with album and song titles written in English only. Back cover is totally different, with album title and tracklist written in Spanish only, without any credit, with other 4 albums by Elvis Presley recommended and catalog number at bottom right corner. In labels, the album title is written in Spanish only and tracklist is written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters and for accompaniment of The Jordanaires in some songs, with additional information about the patent number, “Gruve-Gard pat. n° 16034 de 14 octubre 1958”, and full play time of each side. It’s interesting to notice that song “(Marie's The Name) His Latest Flame” is translated to English “Marie's The Name His Latest Flame”, without brackets. And album title at front cover is “Elvis’ Golden Records 3 Volume 3” (as seen in original US issue)”, in back cover is, in Spanish only, “Vol. 3 De Los Discos De Oro De Elvis” (in English, “Vol. 3 of Elvis's Golden Records “) and in labels, in Spanish only, “Discos De Oro - Vol. III” (in English, “Elvis’ Golden Records, Vol. III”). So, here you have the chance to get and own this so classic Rock ‘N’ Roll compilation album by Elvis Presley in this MEGARARE CHILEAN SECOND PRESS, with UNIQUE COVER, UNIQUE BACK COVER DESIGN and Spanish-written album and song titles, a record almost never seen and maybe auctioned here in eBay by the very first time, A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of early Rock ‘N’ Roll music of late ‘50’s and early ‘60’s, and especially for all fans, lovers and collectors of Elvis Presley and The Jordanaires!!!
The cover was already described and it’s in nice EX- or even EX condition, clear and clean, with some light wear in all edges, more evident in corners, with faint creases and some discoloration, with evident age browning in back cover, with some faint stains and blemishes, with the name of a pat owner written in front cover. The record is in VG- or even VG condition both sides, glossy and clean, with many scuffs, light and not so light hairlines and soft and not so soft scratches, which don’t affect play at all. Labels on both sides are in VG+ or even EX- condition, clean and clear, with some spindle hole wear and the same name written at top, with residues of tape. The sound is in strong EX- or even EX condition, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant and mostly barely audible very soft crackles and some occasional light clicks here and there, which don’t cause major distraction for the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE Chilean second press, with UNIQUE COVER and UNIQUE BACK COVER DESIGN, with Spanish-written album and song titles, maybe not for strict Minty minds or audiophiles, but with still a very nice cover and a record maybe not with the best look, but with clean and fully readable labels and great sound quality after about 59 years, which shouldn’t disappoint anyone and should satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity of this Chilean issue!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!
Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…
Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile
_______________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
