ELVIS PRESLEY "ELVIS PRESLEY" HMV UK DEBUT LP. "ROCK N ROLL No. 1". CLP 1093 I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go … to make room for new acquisitions! Please check out my “other items” for more great stuff.
The UK version of this brilliant debut LP from Elvis. The sleeve, very similar to the U.S edition, is renowned for not lasting well due to it's thin paper but this one, whilst having issues is far from the worst I've seen, with a light rear & some delamination, it's still striking for it's 67 years. The labels look great with only very slight spindle marks. The record itself has had a life & shows many marks & scuffs, plays right through but with background crackle & pops, hence the low starting price.
