ELVIS PRESLEY "ELVIS" U.S RCA LPM 1382. RARE 15S ALTERNATE "OLD SHEP" VERSION & RARE NO "AD BACK " CVR
I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go … to make room for new acquisitions! Please check out my “other items” for more great stuff.
A rare find is this 12S / 15S pressing with the alternate version of OLD SHEP & also a rarely seen rear cover minus any adverts for other LPs, a hard one to find all round. Sleeve is showing wear & has tape, as photographed but is still sturdy. The labels have some spindle wear & smudges but are still clear & vibrant. The record itself has clearly been played & has many light marks on it & some larger fine scratches (see pics) but still plays through without jumps & fairly minimal noise other than on LOVE ME & FIRST IN LINE which have audible clicks from the marks shown in pics & OLD SHEP has some crackle. Inner sleeve has worn through at bottom.
