Description
The cardboard sleeve and the record are in excellent condition. The sleeve is clean, with no scuff marks, splits, tears, stains, tape, etc. The record has no scratches or smudges. It was played a few times when it was new, but hasn't been touched by a needle in 50 years.
The record did not come with a paper inner sleeve.
At some point someone apparently wrote on a piece of paper that was on top of the sleeve. There are no ink or pencil marks on the sleeve, but an impression was embossed on its surface. If you look closely in the right light, you can see the impression "129" and a little scribble above Scotty Moore's head. See the photo. I have owned this record for 57 years and never noticed these marks until I photographed them recently under bright lights. They are not noticeable under normal conditions, but I don't want the buyer to be surprised.
