ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS COUNTRY (“I’m 10,000 Years Old”) (LSP-4460) RARE RIGID VINYL, ROCKAWAY PRESSING!

RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with plenty of gloss and original sheen! Several very light paper sleeve scuffs present but nothing that can be felt with the fingertip. This RARE, Rigid Vinyl copy played beautifully with “like new” high fidelity upon test-play! The labels on this Rockaway pressing are beautiful and glossy with no writing or evidence of any stickers whatsoever. Rockaway was the exclusive pressing plant for Rigid Vinyl copies of “Elvis Country”, which was the final Elvis album to be released on Rigid Vinyl. Yet for reasons unknown to me, the previous major album, “That’s The Way It Is” receives more attention when it comes to Rigid Vinyl; go figure! The etched matrix numbers on this record end with 9S/8S, respectively.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) perfectly matching the record! The spine as well as the upper and lower edges are solid and fully legible although there is some minor corner wear. Ring wear is nearly non-existent; very minimal. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (54) is included. Central edge splits are present on the sleeve, however.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
