ELVIS PRESLEY – ELVIS (LPM-1382) FIRST PRESSING with “AD BACK” COVER 1D
RECORD: VG (Net) with a smattering of very light scuffs, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. However, after test-playing this Indianapolis pressing, one skip was detected on “So Glad You’re Mine” and likewise for “Ready Teddy”. Aside from this, RCA Victor’s “New Orthophonic High Fidelity” remains fully intact! The labels are beautiful with just some light spindle marks present. The matrix numbers end with 10S/12S.
COVER: VG- with a complete upper seam split (please see all photos) as well as a lower seam split of 9 inches in length. This is “Ad Back” cover 1D, according to Jerry Osborne’s “Presleyana VIII” (2017). Some staining is noticed in the lower portion and there is some moderate ring wear/scuffing seen on both sides. The most common of all “Ad Back” covers, hands down, is Cover 1B, depicting Perez Prado’s “Voodoo Suite”.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
