ELVIS PRESLEY– ELVIS PRESLEY (LPM-1254) THIRD PRESSING With ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful, glossy surfaces! There are just a small number of very light scuffs that should not have any effect on the audible performance. This Hollywood pressing should play great from beginning to end! A Third Pressing (1964-68), this was the last time that Elvis’ debut album would ever be available in Monaural until the 1984 remastered reissue. The “White Top” labels are simply gorgeous with no discernable spindle marks on either label! There is just a small amount of wear about the spindle hole. This album was originally released in March of 1956 and is the only Elvis album in which each and every track was also released on 45 RPM! The matrix numbers on this record end with 20S/12S.
COVER: NM with 95% of the original shrink wrap remaining tightly on the cover! A small portion to the lower right corner has torn away. The original price sticker of $2.50 remains fully affixed to the upper right corner. The shrink wrap has served this cover well in protecting against yellowing the mostly white back as well as any unsightly ring wear! Just a minor lower right corner tip bump is noticed. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40B) inner sleeve is included.
