ELVIS PRESLEY Good Rockin' Tonight ORIGINAL UK HMV EP Rock and Roll Rocking
Elvis Presley, Good Rockin' Tonight.
Original 1950's issue UK HMV Records mono 7" EP housed in picture sleeve, 7EG 8256.
Disc has a dinged (pushed out) large centre hole.
Vinyl around a G grade, strictly graded. The surfaces still have a high gloss and are not dulled by over-use. However there are a fair amount of hairline scuff marks and light hairline scratches. No really deep digs or gouges however.
Note that any dark marks visible to the vinyl in the photo are merely reflections.
Playback suffers from background crackle and some light ticks. However, this is all behind the music and does not overwhelm it. Towards the second half of the second side the sound cleans up and "Just Because" plays nearer a VG.
Labels are clean and undefaced and still with a good unrubbed gloss.
Sleeve is better preserved and on the whole a solid VG. No loss or tears, and still with an overall high unrubbed gloss for vintage. Just a hint or ringwear, without scuffing. Just one or two light hairline imperfections to laminate, which reamins unpeeled and without loss. Unmarked bar a small and faded penned "13" to top right of front panel. Diagonal creases to bottom corners with some laminate air pocketing to the crease at bottom left. Rear panel still very clean and backflaps intact. Seams are in good order and not worn, although for some reason there is some residue from a removed strip of sellotape along left hand edge front and rear. This is not tacky to the touch and is not overly obtrusive. Entry side still acceptably crisp and not feathered or nicked.
