ELVIS PRESLEY - “KING CREOLE” (LPM-1884), A BEAUTIFUL, GLOSSY FIRST PRESSING OF A 1958 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING! THE COVER IS THE SECOND VARIATION.
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with full original gloss! This Rockaway pressing appears NM at first glance, but upon inspection under a bright light, a small amount of extremely light paper sleeve scuffs appear. These should have absolutely no effect on the audible performance. This Original Soundtrack Recording should play like new! The labels are simply gorgeous with only a few very light spindle marks. This album was released in August of 1958 and includes the hit single, “Hard Headed Woman / Don’t Ask Me Why”. The matrix numbers end with 9S/14S.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) with absolutely no seam splits, tape or staple holes. However, someone did write “#15” on the front at the upper right corner (please see all photos) as well as “1959” on the back to the lower right corner, both in black marker. A small stain is seen to the upper portion of the back side. Ring wear is nearly non-existent on this second-issue cover. Nice!
INNER SLEEVE: The original “ELVIS IS BACK!” inner sleeve from 1960 is included. There are central edge splits from the record sliding about within the sleeve.GOOD LUCK!
