"Little Sister" & "Paralyzed"
Rare 1983 US PR0M0 0NLY RCA JB13547 BLUE VINYL! Issued to push the 1983 'I Was The One' LP which featured beefed up and remastered versions of classic Elvis recordings. As a concept it predated by 20 years what the British did with "A Little Less Conversation" and "Rubberneckin'", although on 'I Was The One' they didn't 'hip-hop' it they simply added instrumentation to make the original recordings more powerful and modern when remixed. Beefing up the guitars on "Little Sister" is almost hard to believe! The record was already a masterpiece in 1961! HOWEVER - this is a great version too, still totally true to the spirit of the original. If you haven't heard the "I Was The One" album, you should. It's solid.
What RCA accomplished by issuing this as a blue vinyl PR0M0 was to create another rare single for collectors to lust after, and this is one of the finest.
