ELVIS PRESLEY MYSTERY TRAIN / I FORGOT TO REMEMBER TO FORGET ORIGINAL SUN 223 With Scotty and Billy. Original 1955 Sun Pressing that matches the below matrix and runout catalog #s.
- Matrix (Side A label): U-156
- Matrix (Side B label): U-157
- Runout (A side runout etched): 45-U-156X 20
- Runout (B side runout eteched): 45-U-157X 20
- The “20” etched in the runouts is a bit higher than the rest of the numbers, it is less than ½ inch away. SEE PHOTOS TO CONFIRM MATRIX AND RUNOUT.
- This record has been played many times. Item has a historical value from the standpoint that it was the last Sun record Elvis released. Labels have general and ring wear. A side has an inch tear below matrix.The vinyl has numerous scuffs and hairlines none of which can be felt with the finger. Side A shows a slight puncture in the dead wax before the start of the song that does not affect play. Record plays through in very good fashion with slight surface noise, more noticeable on B side. In my appreciation the record plays better than good.

M Mint I DON'T USE THIS GRADE UNLESS I AM CERTAIN THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED. M- Mint Minus A near perfect previously played record. In excellent condition and no signs of wear or damage that will affect sound quality. VG++ Very Good ++ Close to new with minimal evidence of use that do not affect play. VG+ Very Good Plus While not flawless, evidence of some use but still the condition is very good. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or hairlines that do not affect sound quality. VG Very Good Used reasonable copy. Wear present and some surface noise between tracks and quiet passages. Vinyl may have other visible defects, but should play through without skipping. Cover may show ring and edge wear, or moderate seam splits. VG- Very Good Minus Significant wear and marks and noticeable surface noise. I consider this a LOW GRADE record. G+ Good Plus Reserved for a filler in your collection until a better copy surfaces. THE ABOVE ARE GENERAL AND CONSERVATIVE CRITERIA. SOME RECORDS MAY FALL IN BETWEEN GRADING CATEGORIES.
