A GREAT COLLECTOR'S ITEM!

An original copy of SUN 223 'Mystery Train/ I Forgot to Remember to Forget' by Elvis Presley from 1955. This was the fifth and final SUN issue. The playing surface retains a very nice sheen with only some light surface wear. Plays fine on a modern turntable with lightweight pickup with a very clear authentic sound, very little audible background noise especially Mystery Tain with just a little on I forgot. This is a great record to hear the original SUN sound of Elvis.

From the pictures the inner ring has had two indents where the old metal centre holder would have been. The labels themselves are pretty clear, especially Mystery train, just a little ringwear and a small black dot just above 'quarter to' postion on I Forgot. No writing on the labels.

Trail-offs are: 45-u-156x  20 and 45-u-157x  20 with the small 7mm gap between the x and the '20'. The tiny reverse 'MSI co' stamp is there (Memphis Sun Inc.) Comes with a nice old brown bag similar to the one which would have originally held Elvis Sun 45s.

Going to start this off low with no reserve so a chance to own a piece of rock'n'roll history!
