This record is in excellent condition. It has a cluster of spindle marks visible on both the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or staining. There is just minor wear around the centre holes and these are not loose or worn. Overall the iconic 'Red Spot' labels are clean, bright and in good shape but with the few spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing serious, nasty or major showing and have a lovely lustre. There is a few light lines, minor marks(some pictured but look far worse in the pictures as taken when angled into light) and mild signs of use/age on both sides however. Overall it is a vintage used lp that has some signs of this but also has nothing at all major and is still in very nice playable condition.
I play tested the record and it played very well. It lays flat and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent with no serious issues and hardly any surface noise or interference. There are no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test. I noted a couple of quick light blasts of distortion in track 2 on side 2 but I think these must have been some sort of manufacturing defect/pressing issue. They are brief and minor however and overall the audio is a strong grade of 'EX' with good clarity and no real interference or serious problems(just the few light blasts of distortion on side 2 as mentioned).
The front laminated sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some mild wear or light crumpling to the edges and corners but the writing on the spine is all still clearly legible. The sleeve remains solid and there are no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks. There is age related grubbiness or discolouring to the rear however and also light creasing to the laminated front. The creasing is not severe considering its age but there is a few dotted around the laminate and near the edges. There is also light ring marks showing on each side but overall it is a tidy and solid sleeve with just general age related handling/discolouring issues. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains its original poly-lined inner but this has discolouring, grubbiness and creasing. Its poly inner has also come loose and so it is a little tired and jaded all round. I will send the record in a brand new plain white inner.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
