This is an ORIGINAL VERY FIRST and EARLIEST ENGLISH pressing of Elvis Presley`s MASTERPIECE debut LP entitled ROCK N ROLL on the HMV record label. The man that stated it all. The fully laminated half moon flip back sleeve, typical of the 50s, is confirmed a first and earliest sleeve by the position the famous dog looking down the gramophone horn trade mark being in the center of the flip back half moon. Second issue sleeves had this picture on the bottom left side of the sleeve. Double click the pictures and look at this sleeve closely. The original inner sleeve is present and still bares all the writing "Take good care of your records"  and advice on gramophone needles etc and is in great condition and amazingly the inner cellophane is all still attached.Due to the very delicate nature of these thin early original sleeves the majority of  them are shot to pieces. This one has slight damage but in this condition these sleeves are seldom  seen looking as good as this one ! There is slight ring ware to the front and back.Look to the opening  edge where the record slots in and you can see various laminate cracks and lifts and a half centimeter  tare on the front pannel. Its a similar story on the back with a very slightly larger tare. There are cracks  to the spine in the laminate and the letter R is missing from the word ROLL in the spinal writing  other than that the spine is in fine order. The best I could grade the sleeve is Very Good ++ and  considering this item is 61 years old this condition of this sleeve is pretty incredible. The vinyl has a lot of hairlines to both sides of the vinyl but neither side bares any feelable scratches . You can get an insight into these markings if you double click the pictures but there`s nothing too bad. This LP vinyl still has a very good luster sheen, incredible for its age. Both sides of this LP play all the way through without jumps skips or sticking. There is some crackle and background noises in the quieter parts and between tracks but this LP is a great player and it plays exceptionally well. The beautiful classic HMV record labels are in great condition with hardly  any spindle markings. Double click the pictures and you will see side 1 has the EMBOSSED XT tax code on either side of the spindle hole, this was missing from second pressings. Overall id grade this item a VERY GOOD++ on this very very presentable and highly collectible  UK original record from the king of Rock n Roll Elvis Presley.

This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing  the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition of the original inner sleeve .
