NEXT - A COUPLE MORE WEEKS WORTH OF VARIOUS COLLECTABLE VINYL LPs AND 12" EPs! This is a reasonably priced early pressing of the ORIGINAL 1956 U.S. RCA VICTOR RECORDS LP titled 'Elvis Presley', his historic and musically great debut album for RCA Victor.   It is RCA Victor Records catalog number LPM-1254, silver print, with the inscription 'LONG 33-1/3 PLAY' at the bottoms of the labels, and green and pink logo box at the upper right corner of the front cover.  This is one of the all-time greatest rockabilly LPs ever made - I always say that if you wanted to show someone unfamiliar with rockabilly what this music is all about, you would play them three LPs - The Johnny Burnette Trio, the Gene Vincent second LP  Capitol T811, and this LP - Tracks: Blue Suede Shoes, I'm Counting On You, I Got A Woman, One-Sided Love Affair, I Love You Because, Just Because, Tutti Frutti, Tryin' To Get To You, I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry, I'll Never Let You Go, Blue Moon, Money Honey.   Condition of record is conservatively about a high VG-/VG with a moderate to fair amount of visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and a couple of light surface scratches which can be felt and which will cause a few slight ticks which do not overpower the music, no skips.  Record plays with some slight crackly surface noise which again does not overpower the music, it still sounds great!  Condition of cover is conservatively a low VG+ with a 3" split and a 1" split in the bottom edge (I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside), the 1/4" beginning of a split at the top right corner, a few very slight wrinkles, some general contact and ring wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners.  Cover has no tears, stickers, or writing.  This is a historic, musically superb, and reasonably priced LP that is an essential cornerstone component of any rockabilly, Elvis Presley, or roots rock-n-roll record collection!
