Description
ELVIS PRESLEY Self Titled LP 1956 1ST PRESS MONO Vinyl RCA VICTOR LPM-1254 Debut Indianapolis pressing? 6S 1S “l” in runouts..
As noted above,
This a fairly rare early pressing of this iconic LP from Elvis Presley..vinyl is VG, has numerous scuffs & “hairlines”, but nothing deep like an actual scratch..labels look good, vinyl is a nice deep black, “heavy” mid 50’s style “deep groove”..cover is VG as well, has some light shelf/edge/ring wear, a couple spots of “purfling”, like on the bottom edge, but the spine is pretty solid..back side has the usual “foxing”..looks like correct inner sleeve, pretty aged..gave the first track “Blue Suede Shoes” a listen and this is a great bright recording, yes, some light crackle before the song kicks in but wow, very strong acoustics..could use a proper cleaning for even better sound…
See my other auction for the Stereo version of this record! (I combine shipping)

- USPS Media Mail $3.85 Ask me for combined shipping deals on multiple albums.
Vinyl will be placed in it’s own anti-static sheath, separate from its cover, with the cover in its own clear sheath, sandwiched between two cardboard spacers & well packed in a standard record mailer, USPS Media Mail
Records have been given a basic cleaning, but I would recommend a proper cleaning to get even better sound and performance!Thank you
