Description
RCA Victor LPM-1254, Elvis Presley - "Self-Titled" debut lp from 1956. This is a very early if not original pressing of Elvis' first album. The matrix numbers end in -3S and -1S and Just Because is credited to "P.D." The cover retains the rich pink and green colors on the front as seen in the third picture (showing the top seam) of the gallery, moreso than the first picture shows. The cover is in the vg to vg+ range. It would be a solid vg+ except for two seam splits on the top edge (4" and a center 2" split) and a small (less than 2") split starting on the bottom. The cover shows some light wear and there is a small bubble near the center of the top cover from the way it was glued. No major flaws besides the seam splits. The vinyl is very glossy and clean with a number of light scratches that should not affect play much. I grade the vinyl also in the vg to vg+ range.
