Elvis Presley - The Truth About Me - original British issue from 1957 - One sided 6" vinyl promo featuring Elvis talking to his fans for about 2 minutes about his first car, finding the right girl etc. This was originally obtained by sending a voucher from the Weekend Mail and the record was then sent out by post in the mailer although this one appears not to have been sent. Mailer in generally good condition but there envelope flap has almost seperated as can be seen in the photos. Visual examination of the playing surface shows slight signs of wear and the record plays fantastically on my system using a Schure M78S cartridge and stylus and I would grade it E-.
My grading is E+/E/E-/VG+/VG/VG-/G+ with the occassional extra + if required. I have listed a group of blues 78s so check these out as well.
I have been collecting 78s for some time so know how to pack records for safe shipping. Notwithstanding ebay's postage limits which are clearly inadequate to properly pack and ship high end records shipping will be at actual cost so PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE BEFORE PAYING.
