Description
This is ELVIS PRESLEY with Blue Suede Shoes / Tutti Frutti on a GOLD and PURPLE HMV 45 (7M 405) from 1956. It’s not mint but it is a scarce and early UK Elvis 45; it’s certainly not getting any easier to find (it’s the first one I’ve had for a long time). None on eBay at the moment and not too many to be seen on popsike either...
The sleeve is original, not a repro. Have a look; bid or not - the choice is yours.

The vinyl has many small and fine hairline marks plus a few larger ones and some light scratches; however, it played through on my system with only background crackle on both sides but with no sticking and no jumping. I can’t imagine how revolutionary this must have sounded in 1956; it still rocks today. I’m at the age where Blue Suede Slippers is about as rockin’ as I get.
The labels have some small writing on them. The centre is fully intact with no broken prongs. See the photos; there’s nothing to hide.
The cream-coloured HMV sleeve is fully intact and has no rips or splits etc. Again, see the photos…
