Title:   “Elvis Presley”

Label:   RCA VICTOR.  Black label with white dog, silver text.  Monaural first-pressing on medium weight vinyl, with deep groove.   Catalog number is LPM-1254.  

Date:  1956. 

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a relatively small number of times and handled with care.  Grades nice VG+ with excellent fidelity.  There are a few minor scuffs on each side that produce an occasional isolated soft tick, but no serious marks or issues.  Labels are clean, with some minor wear around the spindle hole.  A very fine playing copy of this early Presley rockabilly classic LP, his first for the label.

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++ with no major issues.   Front artwork is clean with only a few very slight traces of ring wear at the top and bottom edges.  The original retail price sticker ($3.98) is in upper right corner.  Reverse panel has a slight bit of darkening around the edges and a couple small marks, but is free of any writing, stickers, tape, or other issues.  Seams and spine are intact except for a split (less than one inch) toward the right of the top seam.  Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the nice sounding disc.
