Up for bid is this Elvis Presley double 45 set featuring eight songs that I picked up recently at an estate sale. I am not an expert at selling records so rather than misuse the popular record grading systems available I will do my best to describe what I have in detail. I have done a little research on this record and I understand it to be rare.
First, it was a bummer to discover that the 45 with sides one and four has an inch crack on it. I understand that these can sometimes be repaired however I am selling these as is. They are pretty clean otherwise with a couple of small surface scratches on side one. The other 45 with sides two and three is also in decent condition. There are a couple of scratches on both sides. I did play this record thru and noticed there was a small skip in "one sided love affair". Both these records were covered in mold when I opened them. I cleaned them with a small amount of liquid joy and rinsed them with distilled water. They likely will benefit from more cleaning.
The cover picture of Elvis and band is very loose on the album cover and is also slightly ripped between the L and E of Presley. There are also a couple of crease lines in the lower right corner. There is some soiling on the interior of the gatefold probably due to age. The album fold is intact but showing some fading of letters ( The E in Elvis).
A very neat collectible of the King. !
