TITLE/INFO: OK, I'm continuing to list most of what's left of my Elvis EP collection - and now I am down to the pieces which are the most rare and sought after........ So, if you're interested in some hard to find Elvis EPs, please continue to check out my site when you get the chance - the very best I have will be listed over the next few days - I thank you in advance! This "temporary envelope sleeve" for Elvis' very 1st, four (4) song EP on RCA appears to be entitled "Blue Suede Shoes by Elvis Presley" and is from back in 1956. This "temporary paper sleeve" is numbered (EPA-747) and actually served as the companion for his 1st EP record until the hard cover was produced, but I do not have a record for this sleeve. FYI, I have also listed this same EP with it's standard hard cover AND the record in today's auctions as well. LABEL INFO: There is no record, so therefore there is no label, but the number is posted as EPA-747 on the sleeve. VINYL INFO: Again, there is no record with this piece!! PICTURE SLEEVE/JACKET: This paper sleeve is in great overall shape. As you can see in the pictures above the front side has all the printing, the back side is blank, and the back side vertical flaps have become unglued over the years - but that could very easily be corrected. Every part of this sleeve is completely attached and there are no rips or tears. Perhaps one could say there has been signs of early aging and slight discoloring, but again, I would expect that with a paper product from 1956. And personally speaking, I think it adds character to the sleeve (please see pics above). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, everything here appears to be in really good condition and it certainly is a very rare piece - but again please see the pictures above and make your own decisions. I will still be listing - or already have listed - a few other Elvis EPs -  mostly from his early days, a couple promos or "specials", two that have the collectible "no dog" labels, and all are in very good condition - so please check out my entire Ebay site here.
