TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to "rogersrecords"----your Ebay site for great conditioned old and collectible records from the '50's and 60's, and more!! This very rare and highly collectible Elvis Presley LP is on the original, "Long Play" RCA Label and is self-entitled "Elvis" from 1956---just his 2nd release ever for RCA Records. The LP is an original 1st pressing as indicated by the backside LP photos of "other" albums being released at the same time, and the song listings on the label which are numbered as "Band 1"; "Band 2" "Band 3" etc, etc, etc. This beautifully conditioned album features 12 great songs by The King, including the hit songs, "Love Me" and the classic "Old Shep". The condition of both the jacket and the vinyl is extremely nice and, in my opinion, very close to perfect---and it even comes with the original inner sleeve, as well. But, please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, RCA Victor Label (with RCA VICTOR printed in gray lettering), LPM-1382, is in mono, and in my opinion, is in just beautiful shape, but for some spindle lines around the center hole of each side. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is nearly perfect, with nothing negative to report at all. There are just a couple extremely light surface/paper lines on either side---and I do mean "extremely" light. They have absolutely no effect on the LP's play and do practically nothing to effect it's appearance either. JACKET INFO: This jacket (with backside pics of "other" LPs) is also in excellent shape, with no flaws to report as well---it really does look practically brand new. The original price of $3.98 is written in pencil in the upper right corner of the backside---kinda neat!! To me, the entire package really does look almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. But, please view all the pictures below and judge for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these original, 1st pressing, Elvis LPs out there very much anymore (and I have much more excellent conditioned Elvis to list as well), so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---other LP's and EP's by 50-60's artists----even some rare C&W EPs/LPs, plus much more. I am slowly selling off my very treasured personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in great shape (in fact, most are near mint). So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! When attempting to view my pictures, please be a little patient as they do take a few seconds to fully focus---but they do come in. And, if anyone ever needs more info/pics than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHCHARGES: The buyer agrees to pay $3.00 (Media) or $6.00 (Priority) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---and it is also cheaper to sent multiple pieces overseas. I accept payments by way of money orders, good checks, and/or PAYPAL. Please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
