Description
This is an auction for the ultra rare EP by Elvis Presley Good Rockin Tonight.
Released on HMV Records in 1957 and has catalogue number 7EG8256. This is the 1st press original release with- Front and back laminated sleeve- Round centre. The matrix numbers for this record are: 7TAV4151N & 7TAV4161N.
Condition: The sleeve is simply stunning, it has the slightest amount of buffing to the very corners and a mere hint of discolour near edge of mouth on rear and lastly one discolour spot again on rear. Please see pictures. All edges are ex- lamination is ex- no tears- bends- creases. The sleeve maintains its true colour. The flipback edges are as new. This sleeve is graded at Ex ( near mint ).
Both labels are as new with only a few tiny spider spindle marks only seen under the closest of examinations. You can count the amount of times this has been played. Both labels are pristine with no finger marks- dirt rings- spotting- scratches- peeling of any kind.
The vinyl is simply like new, only under the strongest light can a couple of tiny surface marks be seen but this is being ultra fussy. The vinyl plays how it looks which is perfect, there are no pops- crackles through out both sides, it retains that brand new surface sheen and as stated above you can tell this has been hardly played. This really is as near mint as you can find it and graded at Ex ( near mint ).
A must for the serious collector of Elvis, unless you have this is mint this will be a better copy than yours. You will not see this EP in this condition on Ebay or any where else for that matter, a true one of investment.
