Description

Rare jazz EP Emcee 5 Lets Take Five, original mono Landsdowne Jazz Series, No. SEG8153. This EP features Ian Carr, Trumpet, Garry Cox, Tenor Sax, Ronnie Stephenson, Drums, Mike Carr, piano and vibraphone, Spike Heatley, Bass. Cover is in good condition, has edge wear, creasing at bottom corners, back has couple of small tears, and someone’s name written on back and looks like sticker has been removed, see pic 2. Record is in very good condition, has some surface marks and scuffs but no “feeley” scratches, however, side two plays for 1 min 55 secs approx and then there are 3 skips, one after the other, after that it plays fine till the end. Side one plays fine all the way through, record does have some crackle and pop but nothing too obtrusive and the music plays clear and undistorted, music sounds very Tubby Hayes(ish). So a rare record that is good for your collection as it is a hard EP to find.
