Description

Hi, you are bidding on the following record:
Emeralds - Marsha b/w You're Driving Me Crazy (Venus, V-202, 195?)
Very rare Doo-Wop/R&B. Not much known about this group but these songs have been on several "heavy" and "rare" doo-wop compilations.
This week I'm listing a small list of random obscurities. All originals (no reissues). Check out my other items!
Condition of Vinyl A-Side:  VG- (Very Good Minus) The record plays through and sounds great. I give it a harsh grade because there is light surface noise throughout, but this could be because it's old or because of the pressing. There are no major flaws nor loud pops or ticks outside of some audible scuffing at the beginning and end of the track.     Condition of Vinyl B-Side:  VG- (Very Good Minus) Similar to the A-Side.  Condition of Label: The label is in nice shape. No writing and not much ring-wear visible at all.
GRADING I grade audibly and visually using the goldmine scale as a template. Grades are very strong. Bid with confidence. SS :: Still in the factory seal. For European records this sometimes includes "re-sealable flip tops."  NM :: Highest grade. No audible flaws and at most one or two very, very faint sleeve scuffs visible only under the brightest light. EX :: No audible flaws but vinyl may have a few visible scuffs. VG + :: Vinyl may have visible scuffs and some faint/light surface noise in very few parts (or in between tracks) but not more than 15-20% of the record is flawed in this manner. A very strong and playable grade. My VG+ is much stronger than most sellers. VG :: Vinyl may have visible scuffs and some surface noise in parts but no more than a couple pops. Record will be enjoyable and may even be a file copy, but the most stringent collector may want to upgrade in the future. VG- :: Vinyl has visible scuffs and surface noise. Some pops and maybe a skip. A listenable record. G :: Vinyl is playable but has some major visible and audible wear. Used only for very rare records.
