Description

Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Emerson, Lake and Palmer, originally the trio’s debut release. A UK 1st pressing, it was issued by Island Records in 1970 and has the catalogue number ILPS 9132.

Identifiers - The records bear the requite 1st pressings marks as per the Discogs website, namely …
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Stamped - ILPS 9132 A-2U
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Stamped - ILPS 9132 B-1U

Vinyl Condition - Very Good+ - The record is bright but with a few light marks, one of which is more substantial. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking but expect the occasional click. There is a little background crackle/noise at times but it is never excessive and generally low level. The exception is at the very start of the second side where there is a sequential run of around a dozen light clicks, caused by the noticeable mark or scratch. Otherwise, would have been happy to grade as excellent.

Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original textured outer sleeve with a little rubbing around the edges and corners. There’s also a small side splits with associated creasing and a small abrasion towards the top of the front panel. Plain white inner sleeve is probably as issued.

The track listing is …

A1 - The Barbarian
A2 - Take A Pebble
A3 - Knife-Edge
B1 - The Three Fates a) Clotho b) Lachesis c) Atropos
B2 - Tank
B3 - Lucky Man

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.

I will accept returns on any item which is not as described and refund all costs upon safe receipt.

See "Me" for further general despatch information.
