Description
This is a fine original US pressing copy of Emerson Lake & Palmer's best known LP, released in 1973. The die-cut foldout jacket has some flaws, but they are, so to speak, in the right place: the back cover. The back has light tearing and ring wear, spine and bottom seam wear, and two slashes in the bottom right corner. The front cover, where the die-cut features are, is by contrast M-. Overall EX-. The disc is clean with a few hairline scrapes and slight loss of glossiness, and plays with mostly light surface noise in some of the quieter passages (EX). The record comes with a large die-cut poster (M-) and the original Atlantic/Atco label inner sleeve (Manticore was distributed by Atlantic at the time).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have visually graded discs except where otherwise noted.
