Here it is FOR THE FIRST TIME and possibly the last time, THE LEGENDARY LOST album from ENGLAND'S GLORY - ORIGINAL PRESSING FROM 1973 !!! This is one of ONLY 25 COPIES EVER MADE by the band for promotional purpose and for friends in 1973 and has the ORIGINAL PINK LABELS and the MACHINE STAMPED MATRIX NUMBERS: VENUS VEN 105A / VENUS VEN 105B, THIS IS 100% ORIGINAL COPY AND ONE OF ONLY 25 MADE IN 1973 BY THE BAND !!! The band of course included PETER PERRETT (PRE- THE ONLY ONES) and HARRY KAKOULI ( PRE- SQUEEZE) amongst others. This copy came from a friend of the band who was given the copy at the time from the band. I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ORIGINAL COPY OF THIS GREAT AND RARE ITEM FOR SALE - EVER, and here is your ONE AND ONLY CHANCE TO OWN THIS PIECE OF HISTORY !!!
The sound of the album is like Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd mixed with early Lou Reed - GREAT !!! The album was pressed by VENUS RECORDS (the studio where the band recorded the album) and given the catalogue number VEN 105. ALL MATRICES ARE MACHINE STAMPED and are: VENUS VEN 105A / VENUS VEN 105B as you can see in the pictures. This PRIVATELY PRESSED DEMO album was never issued in a picture sleeve but was housed in inner sleeves of the time, as you can see from the pictures this copy comes with the original inner sleeve the record came with back in 1973, with the date as 11/1972. The condition of the VINYL is VG / VG- (many light scuffs and marks, nothing deep or feelable, the record was pressed privately with a cheap pressing so there is a bit of crackle during play, but it does not stick or jump !!!), One of the labels have ENGLAND'S GLORY written on it - this was done at the time, maybe even written by Peter Perrett himself !!!. DON'T LET THIS RARE UK PRIVATE PRESSING PRE - THE ONLY ONES / PROG album get away as you will NEVER see another one especially in this condition.
