Entertainers - Searching b/w Down Home Girl PUBLIC PR 651 VG+ .1965 LUXEMBOURG only private release of Dutch beat monsters The ENTERTAINERS . This ORIGINAL version only ever appeared, in a tiny run of perhaps 500 copies, on the obscure PUBLIC record label based out of the tiny country of LUXEMBOURG. PUBLIC issued a few other beat era gems, but this is certainly amongst the scarcest and most in - demand, owing in no small part to the fact that this is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VERSION to the take that appeared on TRANSWORLD PUNK LP. Crude, snarling and intense, this is a classic Nederbeat winner, and very very rarely turns up for sale . This is a nice condition copy, a few surface scuffs are evident, not affecting play. Lots of shine and gloss on both sides of the disc. Public label pressings are a bit noisy, owing to the vinyl used. All copies of this disc have a small degree of background crackle in places, it's the nature of the pressing. This is a very fine example of a very scarce 45.
