Gorgeous, limited reissue of the soundtrack to David Lynch's avant garde debut masterpiece! Far from a traditional soundtrack album, the record features the film's dense soundscape as imagined by Lynch and Alan Splet (augmented with dialogue from Jack Nance and Charlotte Stewart and the occasional snippet of Fats Waller), remastered and pressed on high quality virgin vinyl by the good people at Sacred Bones Records. The record also comes with an extensive 16-page booklet, three 11" x 11" prints of the film's most iconic shots, and, best of all, a 45 RPM single of Peter Ivers' deathless "In Heaven (The Lady in the Radiator Song)," backed with a previously unreleased Ivers outtake. All of these are housed in a gorgeous gatefold sleeve printed with Lynch's indelible imagery. A must for all Eraserhead-heads!
