This 1964 UK 1st Press is on the original black and silver Fontana label. It is complete with the original heavy 60’s vinyl, the rare earliest 1Y/2 - 2Y/1 matrix and the original heavy card laminated sleeve.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition. It has an exceptional gloss, every track looks absolutely sensational. There are no significant signs of play at all, just a couple of the faintest wispy hairlines. The label has the wonderful original heavy black solid sheen. The silver text is exceptionally sharp and bright and there is NO spindle wear.
The sound quality is EXCELLENT, superb audio separation and clarity. When played at volume very slight background noise can be heard but certainly nothing that would spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point, it is the best sounding copy we have ever had, the sound is still sensational throughout.
The laminated sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. The laminate has the most wonderful polished shine, the colours are vivid and the text is solid and sharp. There is a little opening edge wear. The whole sleeve is solid and the spine is very firm clear text.
