Description

The revered and very rare album of his own songs by singer/songwriter/guitarist/painter/illustrator Eric Von Schmidt. Highly regarded by luminaries such as Dylan, Baez, Tom Rush, the Farinas and just about everybody who was or is anybody in the area of folk music, Grammy winner Von Schmidt recorded only five albums in his 75 years (he died in 2007), of which this is considered his best and hardest to find. backed by guitarist GEOFF MULDAUR, it contains eleven originals, perhaps the best known of which is "Joshua Gone Barbados," made even more popular by legendary troubadour TOM RUSH.

Original pressing on the Prestige label (PR 7384) in mono with liner notes by RICHARD FARINA. Vinyl is VG-. Sleeve is VG+ with yellowing from age on the white reverse side. Comes in an outer protective plastic sleeve.
