ERNIE CHAFFIN - SUN 78 RPM RECORD #262 - LONESOME FOR MY BABY/FEELIN' LOW
This is a scarce record from the legendary Sun Record Company located at 706 Union in Memphis, Tennessee. Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Bille Lee Riley, Charlie Feathers, B.B. KIng, Howling Wolf, Charlie Rich, Rufus Thomas, James Cotton and Barbara Pittman are just a few of the legendary artists that walked in the door to make history!
This recording from Ernie Chaffin came out in 1957. Chaffin only had a few releases so grab this one for your Sun collection.
Labels- Quite nice. Black letter(Possibly greasepaint) on label as shown in the photo. The other side is better with only a slight toning on the label. I always photograph the label side that is the weakest. Nice color. The brown is a little light but that's how many of these are....the label colors vary slightly. Refer to my listing of Warren Smith #250 Ubangi Stomp and that shows the darker brown on the label. No writing, stickers or other distractions.
Playing Surface: VG+ in 45 terms. Solid. Some light scratches and marks. Music is clear...way above surface noise.
