Description

This is the self-titled 1971 UK LP by ERNIE GRAHAM, a very early 1st Press release on LIBERTY -  the only solo LP released by Ernie Graham.

Alhough sales of the album were low, it received good reviews, it also features Brinsley Schwarz and Help Yourself as backing muscians.

The LP was bought on its release in 1971, and is a 1st pressing.

The vinyl is on the LIBERTY label, number LBS 83485, and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers:

  • Side 1:    LBS 83485 A-1U "1" "G"
  • Side 2:    LBS 83485 B-1U "1" "G"

Record is NEAR MINT the vinyl is unmarked, nice black sheen, with just a couple of spindle marks on the record label visable in strong light only, it does not look like a 41-year old record.

PLAYTEST

The LP plays superbly,  with no pops,bangs,jumping or sticking, with just some slight background noise in some of the quieter moments, .

COVER

The cover is VG+,  and is an unlaminated textured cover.

There is no noticeable ringwear on the front and back cover.

The front and back faces of the cover are excellent, apart from a postage stamp sized area on the top right of the front cover where a sticker was removed - see picture.

There is wear on the corners and edges. The spine has spots of wear that affect some of the lettering.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
