ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK OST SOUNDTRACK LP - DEATH WALTZ RECORDINGS - UK 1ST PRESS 2012 - LIMITED/SUBSCRIBER EDITION TRANSLUCENT GREEN AND ORANGE VINYL **NEAR MINT**
UK 1ST Press, limited to 100 copies worlwide and only available to subscribers...
This is a superb quality pressing. Very nice, clear and warm sound. Analog synth heaven.
Visually inspected and play graded in strict accordance with Goldmine standards.
Near mint condition (collector grade, cover/vinyl/posters* are all near mint). *Includes rare lithograph of the cover artwork in addition to the A2 size poster. Neither have been opened or mounted.
Both sides of the vinyl look and play near mint. However, there are two marks (one on Side A and one on Side B). These are very light/small and very difficult to see. I mention it because one of the marks produces a light tick on the right channel at the beginning of track two on Side B. The tick lasts around 8 seconds. The tick isn't particularly obtrusive and the rest of the audio plays near mint. Its the sort of thing you might notice after several listens...which is why im mentioning it. I am a collector, and honest/accurate gradings are very important to me. Most people would list this mint and not tell you the above info. Im not like that.
The last thing I want to do is put you off from buying this...as that would be a shame. This is a superb, collectible LP that easily grades near mint overall. I've sold several copies of this soundtrack (an orange version and Im currently listing a factory sealed original 1981 copy).
PACKAGING
I use brand new, high quality record mailers (with 2 insert stiffners)
Records are stored within their original inner sleeves inside the main cover/gatefold. They are then housed in heavy duty plastic wallets to provide further protection
