" Timeless "
Capitol ST-6302, 1968 Original Issue 1st pressing Canada Stereo
One of the coveted crown jewels of soft rock / sunshine pop / pop psych, along with similar efforts by the likes of Roger Nichols & Small Circle of Friends, Mutual Understanding, Left Banke, Margo Guryan, Hagood Hardy & the Montage, etc.
Soon after Eternity Chidren's unsucessful debut album on Capitol's subsiduary Tower Records, the foursome recorded this now mega-rare second LP "Timeless", in Calfornia. But just before the album's scheduled issue, Tower Records abruptly scuttled the album's U.S. release.....
.....yet the LP did see this limited pressing release, but only in Canada (on the now highly collectable Capitol 6000 series).
Unfortunately, since they were essentially unknown in Canada, with poor distribution and limited airplay, the album went nowhere and quickly disappeared into obscurity......rendering it genuinely hard-to-find today.
