Unbelievably beautiful copy of the super rare 1959 pressing of Ethel Ennis’ classic Lullabies for Losers LP on Jubilee 1021. A legendary jazz vocal masterpiece featuring Hank Jones on piano and Kenny Clark on drums. Also the elusive Eddie Biggs on guitar, brilliantly. These original Jubilee pressings sound so wonderful, if you can ever find them in decent condition, which is rare. And this copy is about the best one you will ever see. Really it is gorgeously near mint, the only flaw being a sort of superficial sleeve scuff on side two, which is barely noticeable and completely inconsequential. It makes no sound, and the whole record plays just about flawlessly and truly beautifully. I have never had the pleasure of hearing such a perfect early copy until now, and it is an incredible treat. Don’t get the inferior reissue! This is the best sounding copy you will likely ever see. Even the cover is nearly pristine, with only the tiniest signs of age and gentle use. This is a top, top copy that will be near impossible to beat.
