Ethel Ennis "Sings Lullabys for Losers" Jubilee Records (1021) Mono D/G from 1955. Promo copy. Rare red vinyl pressing. Burt Goldblatt jacket design. Backed by Hank Jones, Kenny Clarke, Eddie Briggs & Abie Baker. I have provided sound samples of all songs on the LP. Despite it age and condition considerations, this is still an enjoyable play copy of a rare, hard to find, sought after vocal jazz LP.
the record is vg+ excellent fidelity, full gloss, plays well with some instances of barely audible background noise, please check the sound samples. a few light spindle marks on the clean labels.
the jacket is very good w/promo sticker on the cover, radio station/distributors stamps on the back cover, cover graphics are clear with some general wear/small ding along opening edge, the rear cover is relatively clean with a few small spots of discoloration, edge wear, neatly taped upper/lower seams. all sound samples are taken from the actual record
