ETHEL MERMAN SIGNED “MERMAN IN VEGAS” LP (E) w/COA!
In 1963 Reprise Records released “Merman In Vegas,” which included all of her best-known hits from Broadway, including “You’re the Top” and “Anything Goes.” While “The Merm” did not like Vegas — she hated people in the audience loudly eating and talking while she performed — the album was a big hit with her fans. Here we have that LP in Excellent (E) condition signed on the front cover (SEE PHOTO) with black pen. She did so, reluctantly, for a longtime fan as the memory of that unhappy October 1962 engagement still lingered — five years after the LP’s release when she appeared on “The Match Game” which taped at CBS Television City in L.A.
