Blues Queen Ethel Waters in 1922 sings 'Georgia Blues/That Da Da Strain' with superb accompaniment from her Jazz Masters including Fletcher Henderson and cornetist Joe Smith. It's Black Swan no. 14120, a fine example of a record from the first major black-owned record company, founded by Harry Pace in 1921. CONDITION: A clean V+ verging on E-. Loud, strong and clear!
