ARTIST:   ETTA JONES (1928-2001)

TITLE:      DON'T GO TO STRANGERS

LABEL:    Prestige Records, catalog no. PRT 7186, STEREO, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve.

YEAR:      1972 reissue of same album originally released 1960 (as singer's FIRST LP for Prestige label).

SPECIAL REMARK:

- the back cover contains an autograph entered by Etta Jones in black marker as follows: "To Bill Love to You & Family - Etta"

CONDITION:

- front cover is close to NM / possibly NM

- back cover is close to NM / possibly NM

- vinyl is NM both sides / possibly MINT (VISUAL GRADING)

COMMENTS:

10 tracks, studio recordings. Includes singer's landmark song "Don't go to strangers". A must-have vocal jazz LP in any serious jazz library. Highly recommended!

Recording engineer: Rudy Van Gelder.

Same sound as in the 1960 pressing as the same master tapes were used for the realization of this reissue.
