VERY RARE ...100% first issue from 1971 - a lavish DOUBLE LP housed in a laminated sleeve with the old "FLAPBACK" seams per old European & UK LP releases.
This DOUBLE album was quite surprisingly enjoyable when noting the exhausting driven effort of the mighty TEN YEARS AFTER caught on wax in their peak of popularity ... on top of all things, the sound quality is immensely strong as a result of a direct hookup to the mixing board. As a matter of fact, back cover sleeve notes rave about the high performance sound quality...
Apparently this EUROPEAN-ONLY limited edition was sold as an "Official" release up until Ten Years After issued their own "In Concert" album. AS things go per usual, this WORLD WHITE PRODUCTION crushes the TYA different recording(s) release which was full of overdubs and meddling of the tapes in attempt to smooth out the "rough edges." In reflection, the World White Production gives you 4 sides of the raw performance - just as it was. One listen and you'll hear why it was important to be released with all the burning fire, warts and all.... these guys could play!!!!
