Three Grading exist: The LAMINATED Paper Sleeves, The SOFT Sleeves, and the HARD Sleeves
HARD SLEEVE ISSUES were released after the American GI's had left the Island by the mid 70's
Big companies entered Taiwan, and started pressing tiny quantities under license orig. Masters.
They were NOT bought by the locals , as they were not interested in western music at that time.
Most of them were dumped and destroyed by Typhoons in the North, and humidity in the South
HONG KONG -------------------------------------- A British Colony up to 1997 Ltd number of Vinyl was pressed there under Licence as well un-official mainly for the British / Expats residing there. Most vinyl was dumped after the digital era later 80's or destroyed by the humidity/ climate change
MALAYSIA ------------------------------------------------------- Pressed in tiny quantities that time , un-official releases , as well official releases Later for distribution around South East Asia Much Rock ( and Roll ) was boycotted by the Malaysian Govt in the old days
ZIMBABWE / SOUTHERN RHODESIA ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Covers were released / made from cheap carton ! Due to shortages of Carton, Plastics and Vinyl - tiny quantities were pressed for the mainly European farming community & expats residing there. Once deleted they were immediately recycled Zimbabwe pressed official releases, under license mother company South Africa
Any great condition item from Zimbabwe is nowadays hard to find. Many were dumped, destroyed or recycled, as well into souvenirs !
