Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl LP by Everyone Involved - Either / Or. Issued in the UK by Arcturus Records in 1972, it’s a 1st and only pressing with the catalogue number ARC 4.
History - This was a private, limited edition, release - an underground acid folk psych recording which covered issues social and ecological. It was financed from independent contributions, with just enough money collected for 1000 copies. The 16 or so contributors received 60 copies each with "Don't pay for this record! It is free..." printed on the label. Came with a fold-out inner lyric poster, which unfortunately is not present here. Mint and complete copies go for huge prices.
Vinyl Condition - Very Good- - The record is relatively bright but bearing a few light surface marks and minor scratches. Having listened all the way through I can confirm that it plays well enough and there is no jumping or sticking but expect the occasional light clicks. Background crackle/noise is variable and most noticeable during quieter passages.
Sleeve Condition - Good+ - Original plain white cardboard sleeve with the title and band name embossed near the top edge. No damage/splits but light edge/corner wear, with various small marks and light stains. Plain white inner sleeve which is discoloured, has a small split along the bottom edge and probably as issued. Please note that my camera seems to have over-emphasised the various marks and the sleeves are not quite as grubby as the pictures suggest.
